Bluebird Pictures has signed up to the Government’s Kickstart scheme. The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit. You will be able to apply for these roles if you are receiving universal credit from the Barking and Dagenham job centre. It is important you are local to our offices, as this is a joint scheme with other businesses in the area.

These roles have only just been approved by the DWP which means our start date has been pushed back until mid February. Please register your interest in these roles with Barking and Dagenham job centre.

These are full time roles for 6 months, minimum London wage. Please see the vacancies below:

  1. Hi there,

I’m a recent English graduate who has experience working as a production runner for independent film companies such as Four 8 Stories and Young Once Creative Forever and am seeking more inroads into film and story development.
I’m interested in applying for the Kickstart scheme as a production assistant. The experience I’ve had working as a runner has inspired me to be more involved in the production of film, with the future aspiration of working in script supervision and story development.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Grace King
